Hi, I have a Freedom Electric Bike in decent condition for sale. It has some zip to it and the batteries seem pretty good. I weigh 300 lbs, and it got me from Coombs to the far end of Parksville and back pretty good. For a normal sized person, it would probably be excellent. Seating is low enough that it would suit a smaller person. It's fun to ride, but I have a car, so I haven't used it much. This bike has permanently mounted pedals that are actually useful so you can use them to help when you're going up hills or when the battery gets low. The pedals are one speed only though so I pedal up to about 20 kph and then just rely on the electric motor. When fully charged, it zips along pretty good at about 35 kph indicated speed. Has sticker on it that says it's an electric assisted bicycle, so no legal issues as long as you have your helmet on.
