Fender Super Twin Reverb in Coombs, British Columbia for sale

This is a very nice amp with lots of volume. Stevie Ray Vaughn owned two of these beauties and used them regularly on stage.
It has many features to help you shape your sound the way you want it. Set up a great clean sound with nice reverb and versatile tone controls and presence control, and then tweak it even better with the bright switch and five band equalizer. Put your favorite pedals in front of it and it will faithfully give you your sound with great tone at a level probably as loud as you will ever need it.
This Amp has been recently checked out by the great amp builder Mark Stephenson of Stephenson amps and, according to his readings, puts out a healthy 'real world' 150 watts. It is a real tube amp and does this via six 6L6 power tubes and huge transformers. Tubes are in really good condition too.
Two 12" Eminence speakers get the sound out there efficiently and spread it around as only a twin can, much nicer than single speakers. If you know what you're doing, which I can teach you, you can make this thing sound great in any room. This amp will handle nearly any gigging situation up to some of the largest venues around.
I would be keeping this amp, but to be honest, it's a heavy amp and my back isn't as good as it used to be. A hundred and fifty watts of all tube sound is going to be heavy because of the beefy transformers and the good strong solid way this thing is built. Twin Reverbs and Super Twin Reverbs are Fender's flagship amps, and the new reissues go for about two grand. This is a bargain at less then half that and is a nice low mileage amp in excellent condition.
It has a distortion control on it, but to be honest, you're better off using your favorite overdrive or distortion pedal through it. I think of it as an incredible sounding clean amp that takes pedals well and will give you huge amounts of volume as you need it. It can play quietly too. :)
