The Enigma has a 30" beam on a 9' 2" platform with a maximized waterline length for fast and stable performance. A depth of 16" at the forward end of the cockpit gives loads of legroom and a truly comfortable seating position even for large paddlers. The hull is lapstrake with an ample keel for exceptional stiffness, speed and tracking. The Enigma edges, turns and performs like a much longer touring kayak.
Made of thermal formed plastic the Enigma out performs other small rec kayaks in looks and weight as well. It has a glossy finish inside and out and weighs in at 30lbs - easy to hoist and launch from other craft and tough enough to take it.
For those looking for additional stability, the Enigma can be fitted with inflatable outriggers that are easily mounted or removed (single pin fitting). These provide a substantial increase in stability for fishing, photography - or fitting the Enigma with a 24-foot sail.
That's right! The Enigma can be fitted with a fully battened sail for those days when play is the order of the day.
